Siena Patel

Siena has a love for sports, music and marketing. She is the lead for outreach for us. She has an immense passion to connect with and help others.

Rylan Patel

Rylan has a love for building, LEGOS and tennis. He is our logistics and operations lead. Our team's slogan was created by him.

Jessica Patel

Jessica is Kayla, Siena and Rylan's mother who is dedicated to support their initiative. She holds MS in Bioinformatics from Georgia Tech and a BS in Molecular Biology from UC Berkeley. She has over two decades of experience in the Pharma/Biotech industry. She specializes in Sales and Marketing analytics for new product launches.

Tammy Buckley

A native of the Bay Area, Tammy earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Stanford University with a minor in mathematics. She also holds a master’s degree in teaching from The American University.  Tammy has taught at middle and high schools across the country and currently teaches high school math at Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton. She lives in Menlo Park with her husband and 3 kids.

Ellen Eder

​

Ellen was born and raised in the Bay Area, and is proud to be 5th generation Californian.  After receiving her bachelor's degree in History from the University of California in Los Angeles, Ellen returned to the Bay Area and pursued a Masters in Business at Santa Clara University.  For more than 30 years, Ellen has worked at Oracle Corporation and is currently a Senior Vice President responsible for the Global Business Practices function.   In addition to her support for Step of Love, Ellen currently serves on the Board of Directors for JobTrain. She also participated as a founding board member for the local chapter of both the National Charity League and Young Men's Service League.  Ellen lives in Menlo Park with her husband, where they raised their two, now adult, children.
